Students work on M&S sustainability brief

Marks and Spencer’s Technology and Innovation Team and eco design consultancy Giraffe Innovations are sponsoring a competitive brief for Ravensbourne Level 2 product and interaction students.

The brief will look at three areas across the food department and aim to improve sustainability and innovation. The students will present their ideas at M&S head offices in February this year. The winning student will undertake 3 month paid placements at M&S and Giraffe, gaining valuable industry experience.

The project has been developed with Ravensbourne’s Subject Leader Michelle Douglas and Senior Lecturer Sam Johnson, as well as with Business Development Manager Claire Selby. This is an exciting new collaboration for the college and plans are already underway for another project in October 2010 with the M&S Household team.

We’ll keep you updated as the project develops!
