Somerset College of Art and Technology Course Information
At Somerset College we have an innovative approach to our courses beginning with a diagnostic first year in which students explore design for body and space – fashion and the built environment. They then choose to specialise in either;
BA(Hons) Fashion
BA(Hons) Fashion Textiles
BA(Hons) Interior Textiles
BA(Hons) Surface Design
BA(Hons) Interior Textiles and Surface Design
Students work on live projects, work placements and have a very strong track record in national and international competitions. The five BA(Hons) programmes focus on linking business practice to studio development;
Our students are original, confident and clear about their aspirations. They are used to working with industry and confident in business practice.
We are very much looking forward to exhibiting 31 students at New designers 2010 and will have a stand focussing on material diversity and themes for reinventing the way we dress and the way we decorate our living spaces.
