AWARD CRITERIA

The successful New Designer will be brave, trend setting, innovative and have a good sense of colour with a specific end use in mind, but be prepared to ‘cross over’ into other merchandise arenas.

Judges will be looking for the sources of inspiration and external influences and will need to be convinced that the candidate has a full and complete knowledge of the limitations of all machinery used to produce the designs.

A kind, open and understanding personable character is essential to be able work with company management, as well as those on the production floor, and we will therefore be looking for strong characters, who are ‘people people,’ and prepared to multi-task.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

‘An interiors collection of printed textile samples including hand screen printed and digital designs.’
