DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Abode is the first assisted shaving experience for the NHS; promoting dignity through products, education and campaigns. The user-centred NHS collection tackles single-use plastic whilst saving the NHS thousands. This enjoyable and efficient shaving experience improves patient well-being and supports our treasured NHS nurses in carrying out this essential practice.
AWARD BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This brief provided a chance for the designers to use their skills and talents to create or build on a project that has benefit and impact, improving society for the better.
JUDGES COMMENTS:
Ella’s project was not necessarily the one project – out of the hundreds received – that would create the most impact – yet the level of thought, insight, breadth of design skills – across a number of design disciplines – was incredible.
