I use old ceramics, polymer clay, epoxy clay and air dry clay as well as paint and foil. The concept is an alien virus that has taken over the ceramic ‘hosts’. I was inspired by nature taking back man made spaces during lockdown and my own issues with a lifelong reoccurring cyst in my jaw that I have surgery for every year. Nature is ruthless but also beautiful and I wanted to show this through my art.
