The Tom Faulkner Award for Distinctive Furniture Design will be presented to the designer whose work is distinctive and masters the balancing act between beauty and functionality. 

We are especially looking to champion bold, creative and distinctive design imbued with meticulous attention to detail. 

The winner will demonstrate a deep understanding of form and its relation to space.
