Hidden Art loves the work of Heather Scott, a product designer who focuses her attention on hand-made wooden products which take inspiration from the simple beauty of Japanese and Scandinavian design, for instance her chopping boards and sushi boards.
Her attention to detail stands out, as well as her craftsmanship and the functionality of her products that make more of your everyday. Discovering new materials and designs, Heather creates contemporary products that are made to be used.
She is based in Cornwall and her workshop is one of many on a farm where she is surrounded by other makers.
We first saw her work at New Designers One Year On in 2015, and felt immediately that it would be a perfect fit with the other products we promote on the Hidden Art E-Shop.
