In this unique Roving Clinic, materials specialists will share their expertise on materials selection and processes in 1:1 meetings with exhibiting designers in the Show – from smart textiles to ceramics, metals, composites and sustainable materials. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the materials used in your design projects, and where to seek further information and help. The Clinic is staffed by the Materials team at Innovate UK KTN and others from Materials and Design Exchange (MaDE). 

To arrange an expert visit to your stand please complete and return the Materials Clinic Booking Form which will be distributed around the Show on Thursday 6 July.

All talks and workshops are free to attend with a valid ticket to New Designers. To attend a talk or workshop please book your ticket to New Designers, making sure to book on the corresponding day.

June Mineyama-Smithson is a London-based Japanese artist and graphic designer on a mission to spread optimism. Alongside her design work, June lectures at UAL as well as judging and speaking at a number of major design events. Her bold, joyful designs have been featured internationally on ITV, Creative Boom, Design Milk, SCMP and Cow Parade Niseko.
