New Designers gives you and your students the chance to talk directly to college tutors and graduates and find out everything you need to know about the higher education courses on offer.

Schools tickets for New Designers 2020 will be on sale later this year.

School Workshop

Schools groups visiting New Designers 2019 were able to attend free dedicated workshops, giving students a fun, educational and hands-on experience to complement their trip.  Daily workshops offered innovative and creative activities  for students within the design disciplines of Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Fashion, Graphic Design, FineArtand Illustration.

Eating & Drinking

Come and join us in the Executive Centre to eat your lunch while visiting the fair. You will find it under the Organisers Office. Just follow the signs. It will be open exclusively to all the students from 12.30 to 1.15pm.  Alternatively, you can enjoy the venue cafe or the multiple restaurant options around.

The winner of the W’innovate & Wilko Award was Joe Deakin from Birmingham City University, Stand FP59. Joe's work explored a range of kitchen accessories designed to utilise lost space within the kitchen environment, such as a knife locking system embedded into counter top and a pop-up salt and pepper storage holder.
