The Denby Pottery Company Ltd is the leading manufacturer of high quality casual tableware in the UK with an internationally renowned brand name and reputation. Produced from locally sourced clay in Derbyshire for over 200 years, Denby products range from the iconic and timeless Imperial Blue to striking contemporary ranges such as Halo, all of which feature beautiful glazes unique to Denby.

Initially a family business established to produce stoneware bottles and jars and an array of domestic wares from Hot Water Bottles and Jelly Moulds to Decorative Vases, it was in the mid 1940’s that Denby began to concentrate on tableware ranges for which it is renowned today. Each piece of Denby is glazed using unique glaze recipes which gives a distinctive colour, texture and pattern and every piece of pottery passes through the hands of over 20 craftspeople before receiving the Denby seal of approval.

Denby Pottery prides itself on its reputation for its product quality and suitability for the rigours of a modern kitchen, being safe for use in the oven, freezer, microwave and dishwasher. It is important to Denby that it maintains the durability and strength for which it is renowned whilst also offering contemporary products which appeal and are relevant for today’s lifestyles. Denby therefore continues to innovate with excellent design remaining at the heart of the business.
