The Colour in Design Award (CIDA) is a charitable organisation founded by Marianne Shillingford Creative Director of Dulux.  It is an annual award that recognises and rewards outstanding and innovative use of colour in design demonstrated by recent graduates and covers all creative disciplines from textiles to digital design. There is a £1,000 cash prize for each winner to develop projects and business ideas plus ongoing mentoring and practical support from industry experts.

“New Designers has always been a platform that shines a light on the best emerging UK design talent. Now more than ever we need to recognise and celebrate the efforts of a generation that have been working towards their goals in the dark – with little or no access to the vital resources they need to fulfil their ambitions. The world needs champions right now and by adapting this essential and much loved event to work so effectively online, the New Designers team have allowed us to be champions for another year.”
