Textile Design at Norwich provides creative education in the context of materiality and surface design to provide design solutions for the diverse world we live in. Wellbeing and health, sustainability, heritage and identity are core interests. Research, reflection, innovation, commerciality, lateral thinking and a rich connection to materials and making processes are key. We embrace inclusivity, enabling each student to realise their individual ambitions in the broadest context of textile practice encompassing print, knit, weave and stitch. The supportive community provides a forum for critical discussion to inform and empower the textile designers of the future.
