WEEK 1: 26 – 29 JUNE 2024

WEEK 2: 6 – 9 JULY 2024

If your University has chosen not to take part in ND this year – don’t worry!  Your course is still able to take part.  Speak to your course mates and find out how many are interested. Then get in touch and we will recommend stand options for you to consider.

There is no obligation to take part, so feel free to give us a call to find out more and discuss what options there are. We’d love to hear from you!

New Designers is the UK’s most important event for emerging design. It is a focal point for the top design graduates from across the nation to connect with industry, employers, buyers, the media, trend predictors and a design hungry public.

If you are about to graduate from your design degree and are looking at ways to launch your creative career, then New Designers could be for you!

Open to graduates of both BA, MA and adult learning courses

'New Designers was the most invaluable experience I had graduating as a BA student as I was able to establish multiple industry connections. The connections formed at ND opened up opportunities for me with more than one company and kick started my working career. The show itself was a great platform to present my portfolio and have meaningful conversations with designers in industry. This helped grow my confidence as a designer and also provided me with great advice for my first steps out of uni.'

200+ UNIVERSITIES              3,000+ GRADUATES              16,000+ VISITORS              100+ SPEAKERS

New Designers is dedicated to creating meaningful connections between innovative young designers and industry specialists.

The event provides networking opportunities which lead directly to employment. Alongside this the PR and marketing campaign raise awareness of that years cohort of students within the industry both in advance and during the event.

Each year, New Designers collaborates with leading industry sponsors and invites them to be part of our prestigious awards programme.

These awards offer graduates the chance to win a range of prizes that will boost their transition into the professional sphere.

The carefully curated prizes aim to provide the students with a professional platform to find work placements and commissions, and employment opportunities.

In the run up to New Designers and over the two weeks of the event we host a range of inspiring talks and workshops, offering advice from leading industry professionals.

These offer students advice and guidance on how to make the most out of New Designers and also provide the tools to start navigating the next steps in their career path.

Here are some suggestions to help you fund raise to cover the costs of participating;

  • Approach your University to see if they will offer some funding to cover the costs
  • Industry specific or local businesses might be interested in supporting your participation and offering sponsorship to cover some of the costs – build a hit list of companies to approach and send them a pitch!
  • Organise some fundraising activities at the University to help cover the costs – could you hold a market selling small items that you have made? Or perhaps a fundraising evening that you sell tickets to?
  • Get in touch with our team to discuss payment plans

We have limited stands remaining for 2024. To see stand options available, or for more information about exhibiting, please get in touch with Isobel Stretton, Sales Manager
