What does resilience mean to you?
We’ve been humbled and impressed by the designers and creative communities who have taken the challenges of the last 18 months and channelled them not just into work, but into building support networks that weren’t there before. The desire to support that was one reason why we decided to give everyone the chance to use our apps free for up to six months.
Who or what inspires you?
At Affinity we strive to make our apps as streamlined and easy to use as possible, and we constantly take inspiration from the work of our users. Last year we commissioned work from 100 of those users which were now using in promotional material and on our website. The quality and imagination of submissions was outstanding, from people using our tools, and drives us to make those tools better.
Why is New Designers important to you/your brand?
Affinity apps are about the next generation of creative software and freeing designers from the restraints of convention. New Designers matches that aspiration to seek out the new and imaginative, and to reward those who are breaking new ground..
