AWARD CRITERIA

The award will be given to a ceramic artist who shows initiative working in clay. The work must be fresh and unique, demonstrating an understanding of ceramic processes and techniques and using them in a new and dynamic way, or by taking a traditional process or style and presenting it in a contemporary manner. We are looking for a maker who is taking clay in a new and exciting direction. 

AWARD PRIZE

The Prize will include:

  • Craft Potters Association Membership (1 Year) 
  • Emerging Maker Feature in Ceramic Review

We liked Claudia’s use of original techniques blended her work with chocolate and pastry and applied to clay to produce a satisfying result.
