Martin wanted to depict a different masculinity from the kind that dominates skincare branding. Pivoting from the classic palette of blacks, army green, greys and navy, he created a sleek, warm brand inspired by the Italian disco and masculine cultures of the 1980s, which are far more metrosexual. Pero provokes confidence and makes you feel as sexy as Barry White, Sly and the Family Stone, or Italian icon Pino D’Angio. Pero empowers men to take care of themselves and makes the process more simple, breaking down all the steps plainly.
