Our BA (Hons) Interior Design course focuses on existing buildings and spaces, and finding innovative ways to use them.
You will apply creative and technical solutions within an interior environment that are functional, attractive and beneficial to the occupants’ quality of life and culture.
You will re-purpose, design and enhance existing spaces to suit new uses and needs by manipulating the look and feel of a space through colour, light, materials, surface finishes, furniture and fittings.
We will explore the experiential qualities of lighting, environment, colours, materials, finishes, and how these are used to create the desired atmosphere of the interior space we redesign and improve the experience of the people who use them.
You will follow a sustainable and interdisciplinary approach where you will be working on live projects and collaborating with people that have different backgrounds.
In this course, you will apply your design skills to a broad range of interior sectors, such as hotels, restaurants, exhibitions, retail and shop fitting, offices and commercial premises, museums, and galleries.
