Textiles at Edinburgh College of Art is ranked 1st in Scotland and 6th in the UK in the Guardian University Guide 2023.

Out Textiles graduates of 2024 seek to harness and present their responses to the current issues impacting textiles and design in our current climate. Collections include responds to the climate emergency, reflecting on environmental shifts, consider challenging contexts, embed traceability and take a considered approach to the impact of their material and process choices. Out students harness colour, print, pattern, drawing, heritage and celebrate where textiles can play a powerful role in our lives and surroundings.
