Fiona's pattern designs are vibrant, rich, and maximalist in style. Family experience, nutrition and well-being are central to the concept of her work and the narrative contained within each pattern. Motifs derive from natural form encountered, foraged, consumed, observed and played with. Each motif evolves as a hand-constructed collage, made with hand-painted paper. These are subsequently digitally montaged to create a seamless pattern that works well as wallpaper and fabric, and can be easily applied to a wide range of homeware products and soft furnishings. Patterns are suited to both domestic and public spaces that desire a connection with our natural world.
