Weighing, mixing, coloring, kneading, extruding, glazing, sliding into the oven. The procedures and equipment in pastry making are in many ways similar to those of ceramics processing. The project “Digitalised Pastry” digitizes the manual techniques, processes and aesthetics of the dessert world and transforms them into porcelain.​

To do so, Moana Sofia Sidoti has developed tools with multi-chamber systems and nozzles for the ceramic printer. Resulting in multiple production possibilities that open new horizons for the innovative design of 3d-printed ceramic objects. The results are objects that show the range of possibilities of this new printing technique.
