SERENA KORDA - THE MAIDENS

COOKE LATHAM GALLERY, UNTIL 17 MARCH

Head to Cooke Latham Gallery in Battersea to view an installation of ceramic works by British artist Serena Korda, whose works were recently exhibited in the Hayward Gallery’s ‘Strange Clay: Ceramics in Contemporary Art’. These surreal pieces are influenced by the palette of majolica pottery, baroque style and the garish colours known to have originally embellished classical marble sculptures.

SMILJAN RADIC - ARCHITECTURE ON STAGE

Next in the Barbican’s series of talks by leading architects from across the globe is the renowned Chilean architect Smiljan Radic. Radic established his practice in 1995 and is best known in the UK as the architect of the 2014 Serpentine Pavilion as well as Alexander McQueen’s flagship store in London’s New Bond Street.

KAFFE FASSETT: THE POWER OF PATTERN

FASHION + TEXTILE MUSEUM, UNTIL 12 MARCH

Don’t miss the chance to experience the work of Kaffe Fassett, one of today’s most successful artists and designers working in contemporary craft. Fassett’s diverse career, spanning over 50 years, includes knitting, needlepoint, mosaic, quilting, textile design, painting and drawing, inspiring millions to make and create with his projects and books. FRAGILE FORMS

JANET RADY FINE ART, UNTIL 20 MARCH

The next exhibition on the list for diverse South Kensington gallery Janet Rady Fine Art is Fragile Forms: Ceramic Works from an Important Private Collection. This online exhibition brings together ceramic works by five internationally renowned ceramicists, represented by blue-chip galleries. Discover works by Brian Rochefort, Edmund de Waal, Akiko Hirai, Ruth Duckworth and Johannes Nagel, which deconstruct and challenge the potential of the medium.
