This year’s New Designers show celebrates this viewpoint, presenting the works of more than 3,000 talented new designers to enthusiasts, educators and professionals alike. Providing a unique platform for fresh talent to connect directly with consumers, employers and people who simply love their work, New Designers is an opportunity to be completely immersed in design creativity.

We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of design shows that celebrate young designers and creative talent. Our two-week programme of presentations, talks and awards covers disciplines as diverse as textiles and fashion, furniture, product and industrial design, jewellery and precious metal work and graphic design, with all elements of modern making represented in the range of work on display. Participate in our Talks Theatre, a forum for idea sharing, design talks and discussions on trends and issues impacting the industry, and come away with fresh insight and ideas.
New Designers is also home to a coveted design awards programme, with dozens of prizes on offer to the best and brightest emerging designers. Along with graduate talent from some of the country’s best design programmes, we also celebrate entrepreneurs who have recently launched design businesses, with our One Year In curated showcase of work providing a stepping stone into the industry for new brands.
In addition to highlighting and celebrating design excellence, New Designers also acts as a forum for creative recruitment. Trade customers and talent spotters can meet designers face to face, interact with their products and gain inspiration and ideas. For businesses looking to introduce new design thinking to their operations, New Designers is the perfect platform. New Designers runs from 26 – 29 June and 3 – 6 July at London’s Business Design Centre. The designers and makers have been hand-picked from more than 170 creative courses around the UK and beyond, and will be on-hand to explain their products, answer questions and engage in design talks.
