The Colour in Design Award

Section :
  • Week 1
  • Week 2

The Colour in Design Award has been set up to recognise and reward the outstanding use of colour in design. It was founded as a charitable non-profit making initiative by colour expert Marianne Shillingford Creative Director of Akzonobel Dulux who along with many other leading industry figures on the judging panel is passionate about helping the next generation succeed in the creative industries. Putting time, effort and passion into anything you feel strongly about always reaps rewards and each of the judges on the panel has offered a generous amount of their own towards this unique colour focussed enterprise.

The award is also supported by Akzonobel Dulux, one of the largest manufacturer of colour in surface coatings in the world; who have championed creativity and nurtured its potential in all areas of the business from product innovation and sustainability to the Human Cities initiative.
